Creative collaborator
Amoroma Productions and Hit Warehouse have worked together across narrative film, documentary, branded content, live events, and post-production—combining Daniel and Kellie Mendoza’s production leadership with Nick Gasmena’s location sound, audio finishing, camera, and drone experience.
A long-running Arizona production partnership
Founded by filmmaker and director of photography Daniel Mendoza, Amoroma Productions grew into a Chandler-based production house built around writing, planning, casting, production, and post. Nick’s relationship with the team developed through hands-on project work rather than a single title or department. Amoroma now lists him among its team as Sound & Drone, reflecting the range he brings to productions in the field and through Hit Warehouse.
That working relationship has included production sound mixing, sound design, mastering, additional camera operation, event filmmaking, behind-the-scenes photography, and aerial support. It also helped connect Hit Warehouse’s audio background with Amoroma’s visual storytelling and production network.
Selected collaborations
Human Threads
For Amoroma’s dramatic web-series pilot Human Threads, Daniel Mendoza filmed and edited the production while Nick contributed additional camera work, sound design, and mastering at Hit Warehouse. The project is an early example of the partnership working across both sides of production: capturing images on set and shaping the finished soundtrack afterward.
Forever Home
On the Arizona feature film Forever Home, produced in part by Amoroma Productions, Nick served as production sound mixer. Daniel Mendoza was director of photography and Kellie Mendoza served as production manager for writer-director Sean Oliver. Nick’s behind-the-scenes photography from the production was also published with reporting about Arizona’s independent film community.

Vintage Arizona: The Heart of Winemaking
Nick again served as production sound mixer for Vintage Arizona: The Heart of Winemaking, a documentary produced by Amoroma Productions and Third Productions. Directed by Sean Oliver, produced by Kellie Mendoza, and photographed by Daniel Mendoza, the film follows Arizona winemakers—including Maynard James Keenan, Emil J. Molin, and Todd Bostock—through the challenges and character of making wine in the desert.

Events, camera work, and real-world production
The collaboration also includes projects such as Cool Off in Style 2016, filmed by Daniel and Nick, and the Christina and Anthony wedding film, where Nick provided additional camera work. These assignments demonstrate the practical foundation behind the larger film credits: moving quickly on location, supporting the primary visual team, and protecting the story as conditions change.
Why the partnership works
Amoroma’s production team and Hit Warehouse share a flexible, outcome-focused approach. Some projects need a dedicated production sound mixer. Others need a second camera, drone coverage, location audio, or final sound cleanup and mastering. Working across those boundaries allows the crew to solve the needs of the production instead of forcing every project into the same template.
For Hit Warehouse, the relationship helped expand a recording-studio discipline into production-ready field sound and visual media. For Amoroma, Nick adds a collaborator who understands both what must happen on set and what editors need when the material reaches post-production.

The shared credits across Forever Home, Vintage Arizona, and other projects document years of collaboration among Nick, Daniel, Kellie, Sean Oliver, and the wider Arizona production community.
